Denver’s current weather trend will continue for another day.
Thursday’s high is forecast as 50 degrees under partly cloudy skies, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Light and variable wind out of the north will shift to the west in the evening as temperatures drop to 23 degrees.
Friday will be clear and sunny with a high of 46 degrees. Clouds will increase as the temperature dips to 22 degrees in the evening.
Saturday is Denver’s first possibility of snow in 2021. There will be a 40% chance of snow after 11 a.m. on a cloudy day with a high of 35 degrees.
Calm winds will pick up and could gust from the northwest over 15 mph. Snow will taper off before 11 p.m. with not much expected to stick; the low will drop down to 20 degrees Saturday night. Saturday should be a tough travel day, particularly in the mountains where there is likely to be more accumulation.
Sunday and Monday look to clear up again with temperatures climbing back into the 40s.
