A man who was investigated by Denver police on sexual assault allegations will not face criminal charges.
Patrick Todd Colletti, a former Colorado franchise managing partner with Buffalo Exchange, a vintage clothing retailer, was investigated in July after dozens of anonymous allegations of employee abuse surfaced on an Instagram account.
“Regarding Mr. Colletti…we refused this case because we did not believe we could prove it beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury,” said Carolyn Tyler, a DA’s spokeswoman.
People identifying themselves as former employees of Buffalo Exchange locations in Denver and Boulder levied the accusations.
Denver police on Thursday said that a criminal investigation was handed over to prosecutors.
“There was no arrest and the case has been closed,” said Christine Downs, a DPD spokeswoman.
The case could be reopened if new or additional evidence is presented, Downs said.
