U.S. Rep. Ken Buck says he will not run for Senate in 2022

U.S. Rep. Ken Buck said on Twitter on Thursday that he would not run for United States Senate in 2022.

Buck represents Colorado’s 4th Congressional District. The Republican from Windsor said he was “humbled by the interest and support… I look forward to continuing to serve and represent the wonderful people of Colorado’s Fourth District in Congress.”

Buck ran for the Senate in 2010 when he lost to Democrat Michael Bennet.

Buck recently won an election for his fourth term in the House after beating Democrat Ike McCorkle in the 2020 election.

Buck is the current chair of Colorado’s Republican Party.
